Easter Picnic

It was wonderful to meet with parents and children at our first social event for the year.



Thank you everyone who generously donated food that enabled us to put together the Easter Hampers, and for supporting the Easter Hamper Raffle, which raised $135.


The raffle was drawn at the Picnic and congratulations to the winning children who each enjoyed selecting a hamper for their family!


The Easter Egg Hunt was a hit with children (including LPPS kids past and future!) who had a lovely time finding Easter eggs all throughout the kinder room.

Thank you to everyone who brought some food to share, and especially to those who stayed back to help with clean up of the kinder. We really appreciate it. :)


We look forward to meeting with more families at future social events during the year - stay tuned...

Dear Parents

Just a reminder that Legend Park Preschool will be hosting an Easter Picnic on Saturday, 29^th March between 4pm and 6pm, at Legend Park Preschool.

Aside from drawing the Easter Hamper Raffle on the evening, we will also be having an Easter egg hunt for the children.

Drinks will be provided on the evening. Please BYO food and other drinks you wish to consume on the day. If you want, you may also wish to bring a plate of something sweet, i.e. cupcakes, home baked biscuits, chocolate cake, etc. to share with others.

For the purpose of catering and to ensure that we have enough Easter eggs for the children, please indicate the number of people attending on sheet on noticeboard outside kinder. Please remember to bring a basket/container for each child participating in the Easter egg hunt.

So come along and join us for an evening of fun and excitement.

Christmas BBQ 2013

It was fantastic to see so many families for our end-of-year BBQ. The children were excited to welcome Father Christmas as he arrived on his fire engine and gave out presents (ably assisted by Pam), and our Christmas raffle proved popular with adults, too! Thankyou to everyone for bringing food to share.

Our Christmas BBQ will be happening on Saturday 7th December from 4-7pm. This will be a great opportunity for current and new families to socialize!
- door prizes and raffle
- presents for children
- Santa is rumoured to be making an appearance on his fire engine...
Meat and bread will be provided - please look for the sign-up sheet outside the preschool to let us know what type of salad or dessert you can bring!

Bunnings BBQ 19/10/13

Volunteers needed!

LPPS has an opportunity to run a Bunnings BBQ to raise funds for kinder.

When: Saturday 19th October, 9a.m. - 4p.m.
Where: Bunnings Warehouse, Vermont South (on Burwood Hwy)

The Sign-up sheet is available on the outside noticeboard. Please indicate when you are able to help out.

Fathers' Breakfast

On Sunday 15th September, children have a special opportunity to invite fathers (and grandfathers!) to have breakfast at kinder.
The bbq will be held from 9-11 am. There will be various activities, including a raffle!
Please look for the sign-up sheet on the noticeboard outside the entry, so you can let us know who will be attending and whether you'd like hot breakfast or cold breakfast!

Welcome BBQ

It was wonderful to see so many families brave the heat and join us at kinder for our first social event for the year!

 
The BBQ was a great chance for parents to get to know each other in a more relaxed atmosphere, while past, present and future kinder children enjoyed playing together.



 


Thank you to everyone who brought along food to share!
Thanks also to the committee members who helped organise the event and wielded bbq tongs in the heat, and to Baker's Delight Glen Waverley for providing bread for the occasion.
